Tribute paid to ‘beautiful, loyal and kind’ A10 crash victim Susan Folkes

A family has paid tribute to a "beautiful, loyal and kind" 68-year-old woman who died in a crash on the A10 near Littleport. Susan Folkes, of Black Horse Drove, Littleport, died after the red Ford Focus she was driving was involved in a crash with two tractors between the Mildenhall Road roundabout and Brandon Creek on Tuesday (November 28).

Susan was pronounced dead at the scene. The tractor drivers were not injured.

In a statement, her family said: "Sue was a much-loved member of our family and her sudden and tragic passing has left us all shocked and heartbroken. "Sue was a beautiful, loyal and kind person, who will be missed by everyone who knew her." A 40-year-old man from the King's Lynn area of Norfolk was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has since been released on bail.
