Two in hospital after serious collision closes road in Bath
Two people were rushed to hospital after a crash in Bath[1] this afternoon (November 23). Avon and Somerset Police[2] were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A36 Lower Bristol Road at 1pm. It has since been confirmed that the drivers of both vehicles, a man and a woman, were injured and taken to hospital. The A36 remains closed in both directions for investigation and recovery work.
Avon and Somerset Police said: “At 1pm today (Thursday 23 November) we were called about a collision involving two vehicles on Lower Bristol Road, Bath. “The drivers of the two vehicles, a man and a woman, have both been taken to hospital with injuries. The road is currently closed while enquiries are carried out at the scene and the vehicles are recovered.”
