Two women in hospital after Renfrew collision involving parked car
Two women have been rushed to hospital following a crash on a Renfrew road involving a parked[1] car earlier today, November 29. Emergency services[2] raced to the scene on High Street at around 12pm. Police and ambulance crews received reports of a car and a parked vehicle.
Two females were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital[3] for treatment following the collision. Police closed the road until 2.30pm to allow for the vehicles to be removed.
Police Scotland have confirmed the enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident are still ongoing.
A spokesperson said: "We received a report of a crash involving a car and a parked car on High Street, Renfrew, around noon on Wednesday, 29 November, 2023. "Emergency services attended and two women were taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment. "The road was closed to allow recovery of the vehicles and re-opened around 2.30pm.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
