Woman rushed to Edinburgh hospital after horror crash between car and pedestrian
A woman has been rushed to a hospital in Edinburgh after she was hit by a car on Tuesday. [1] Emergency services raced to the Dalkeith[2] area at around 8.30pm on November 21 following reports of a crash between a car[3] and a pedestrian. Suttieslea Road, Newtongrange was closed 'for hours' as police and paramedics attended the scene.
The woman was then taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a crash involving a car and a female pedestrian on Suttieslea Road, Newtongrange, around 8.30pm on Tuesday, November, 21, 2023. "Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 8.27pm on Tuesday to attend an incident in the Mayfield area of Dalkeith.
