Woman Struck and Killed By Truck on Fall River Highway

FALL RIVER (WBSM[1]) — A woman died after allegedly being struck by a pickup truck on Route 24 in Fall River. The fatal crash occurred early Friday morning on November 17. The woman, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene after she was allegedly hit by a Ford pickup truck at about 5:15 a.m.

Police say the driver was a 44-year-old Fall River man.

Authorities did not say why the woman was walking on the northbound side of the highway. The crash remains under investigation by state police.
