10 Electric Vehicles We Want To See In GTA VI
The first GTA VI trailer is out[1], and we’re already looking forward to 2025 so we can finally play the game. While we wait for it, we’ve decided to fantasize about which electric vehicles[2] we would like to see Rockstar include in its upcoming classic. The franchise is known for being accurate to the core, and it would only make sense for the developers to throw in at least a few EVs in there, considering how electric vehicles are gaining a ton of traction in real life, amid the recent governmental incentives, climate policies and pending bans on gas-only vehicles[3].
Since cars in GTA V had different attributes[4] depending on their type and brand, we’ve been particular about our picks for GTA VI. The selections on this list all include vehicles with unique qualities that would make them an added value to your gaming experience. From the Rimac Nevera[5] to the Fisker Ronin[6], these EVs all have the potential to provide hours of fun in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Naturally, Rockstar would give them different names, but we would still recognize them by their uncommon design and flabbergasting performance. In order to give you the most up-to-date and accurate information possible, the specs and data used to compile this article were sourced from the official manufacturer websites, including Tesla, Hyundai, and Lucid Motors. Being a fantasy list, we’ve picked out EVs ranging from supercars to pickup trucks to full-size SUVs to ensure a diverse range of models that we’d love to see in the game.
10 Racing Games To Watch Out For In 2023[7]
From arcade racers to realistic sims, here are 10 racing games that should get your adrenalin pumping in 2023
1 Tesla Roadster
0-60 mph: 1.9 seconds
This Tesla Roadster[8] is hyped up to be the next best thing in the automotive industry, or as Elon puts it, “the fastest production car ever made, period.” The specs boasted during its initial reveal in 2017 showed a 0-60 mph time of 1.9 seconds, and a 0 to 100 mph time of only 4.4 seconds.
Elon Musk has specifically pointed out that this second coming of the Roadster will be the most potent offering to ever come out of Tesla’s factories[9]. This means it’s all set to outperform the Tesla Model S Plaid, which churns out 1,020 horsepower, combined with 1,050 pound-feet of torque.
Tesla Roadster Performance Specs
Electric Motor Tri-motor setup
Drivetrain All-Wheel Drive
0-60 mph
1.9 seconds
0-100 mph
4.2 seconds Top Speed
Over 250 mph Range
620+ miles (Specs sourced from Tesla)
So far, the Roadster has yet to be turned into a production mode, and we have little to work with aside from the pompous claims made by Elon and Co. Nonetheless, we couldn’t resist but put it in second place. Let’s be honest, the most advanced GTA game ever obviously needs the “fastest production car ever made”, even if those assertions are never backed up! Brownie points if you also include the original Roadster[10], Rockstar!
2 Kia EV9
0-60 mph: 5.0 seconds
Not every vehicle in Grand Theft Auto has to be a supercar.
Sometimes, you just want to snatch a quirky-looking SUV from an innocent passerby and go on a little tour around the city, while admiring the scenery, and the unique design of the car you just grabbed from that poor NPC. For those purposes, the Kia EV9 is a perfect fit[11].
KIA EV9 GT-Line Performance Specs
Electric Motor Dual-motor setup

379 horses Torque
516 pound-feet Driveline
AWD
0-60 MPH
5.0 seconds Range
270 miles Top Speed
124 mph Towing Capacity
5,000 pounds (Specs sourced from Kia)
Naturally, we would pick the GT-Line variant for the game, as it is the most potent. The latter churns out 379 horsepower, combined with 516 pound-feet of torque. These specs translate into a 0-60 mph time of 5 seconds, allowing the EV9 to play with the fastest SUVs on the planet.[12]
Aside from being a perfect fit for the Grand Theft Auto universe, the Kia EV9 is also a competent EV in real life, and includes the following perks:
- Seven-seater configuration
- 800-volt architecture, combined 10-80 percent charging time of 24 minutes @230 kW DC Fast-Charging
- Up to 304 miles of range (EV9 Light Long Range)
- 180-degree swiveling seats
- Level 3 Autonomous Driving targeted in certain markets

Here’s why driving and shooting go together so well in these greatest of all-time vehicular combat video games
3 Fisker Ronin
0-60 mph: 2.0 seconds
If GTA 6 is going to have anything similar to the horse-stamina feature in Red Dead Redemption 2[14] when it comes to cars, then this should be your go-to for fast-paced police chases and lengthy road trips around the map. With 600 miles of range on a single charge, the Fisker Ronin is guaranteed to be a reliable escape vehicle, as you run away from the police, with five stars glaring on the top corner of your screen.
2026 Fisker Ronin Performance Specs
Electric Motor Tri-Motor Setup
Horsepower Over 1,000 horses Torque
N/A Driveline AWD
Range
550-600 miles
0-60 MPH
2.0 seconds Top Speed
170 mph (Specs collected from Fisker)
There would also be enough room for your associates since the Ronin prides itself on being the world’s first all-electric, four-door convertible GT sports car. The cherry on top is that it can go from 0 to 60 mph in two seconds[15], so you might want to keep it in your garage for those online races as well. Fisker[16] has also announced that the Ronin will start at £385,000, and only 999 copies will be built. Would it be just as rare in GTA VI?
4 Tesla Cybertruck
0-60mph: 2.6 seconds
Let’s be honest, the Cybertruck[17] was built to be part of a video game.
While the Minecraft-esque design might not be to everyone’s taste, it has just enough je-ne-sais-quoi to be a cool vehicle to drive in GTA VI. Don’t let the funny looks fool you, this is a perfectly capable truck. Considering how diverse the upcoming map looks, you’ll definitely need an off-roader like this for your upcoming escapades on the beaten paths.
Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast Performance Specs
Electric Motor
Tri-motor setup Horsepower
845 horses Torque
10,296 pound-feet Driveline All-Wheel Drive
Range
320 miles
0-60 MPH
2.6 seconds Top Speed
130 mph Towing Capacity
11,000 pounds Payload Capacity
2,500 pounds (Specs sourced from Tesla)
For the sake of the game, we would want Rockstar to implement the fastest version of the Cybertruck, also known as the Cybereast. The latter rivals the likes of the Lotus Evija and the Porsche Taycan Turbo S[18] in terms of speed, with a 0-60 mph of 2.6 seconds. Now, Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to stow things on your horse. The equivalent for cars would be to tow things.
If Rockstar makes that logical transition, then the Cybertruck would be ideal for such purposes, with its 11,000-pound towing capacity. Furthermore, the electric truck presents the following advantages:
- Highly customizable, as evidenced by the recent Unplugged Performance version[19]
- Impact resistant windows
- Six-seater configuration
- Resilient Exoskeleton body, composed of Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless steel
Tesla Has Finally Followed Through On One Of Its Promises[20]
Tesla’s Model X and Model S will now feature Steam video game capability
5 Lucid Air Sapphire
0-60 mph: 1.89 seconds
The Lucid Air is one of the few electric sedans left in today’s SUV-dominated world. Aside from its high-end, futuristic design, that fact immediately qualifies it to be in the game in our eyes.
The impeccable styling will make you revert to cinematic view a few times, as your Lucid Air smoothly cuts through the streets of Vice City with perfect sophistication, befitting a high-end EV with a starting price of £249,000.[21][22]
Lucid Air Sapphire Performance Specs
Electric Motor Dual-motor setup Horsepower
1,234 horses Torque
1,430 pound-feet Drivetrain
AWD Range
427 miles
0-60 MPH
1.89 seconds Top Speed
205 mph (Specs sourced from Lucid Motors) Our pick for the Grand Theft Auto universe would be the Lucid Air Sapphire[23].
Although the latter sacrifices a bit of range for the sake of speed, it still offers an impressive 427 miles on a full charge and could help you finish your missions much quicker, courtesy of its elite acceleration time.
6 McMurtry Speirling
0-60 mph: 1.4 seconds
You might not have heard of this one yet, but it is one of a kind. After all, it’s not every day that you see a seven-figure electric hypercar the size of a Chevy Spark[24]. With its unique design, and over 986 horses churned out through its dual-motor setup, the Speirling would come in handy when you want to show off[25] to your friends during your online races.
McMurtry Speirling Performance Specs

986 horses Torque
TBA Drivetrain Rear-Wheel Drive
Range
300 miles
0-60 MPH
1.4 seconds Top Speed
150 mph (Specs sourced from McMurtry)
The Speirling has already made a name for itself by beating the 23-year Goodwood Hillclimb Record on its competition debut, when it ran through the 1.16-mile course in 39.08 seconds. However, it’s too bad the British juggernaut is limited to 150 mph. Nonetheless, it makes up for it by sprinting from rest to 60 mph in a mere 1.4 seconds, and can finish a quarter mile in 7.79 seconds![26][27]

From arcade racing giant to mass-produced bore, this is the story of how Need for Speed fell from their legendary acclaim
7 Chevy Blazer Police Pursuit Vehicle
0-60 mph: 3.8 seconds
Chevrolet
Let’s be frank, you want to spice up those five-star police chases, don’t you?
After all, it’s no fun if the Vice City PD is running after you in an outdated vehicle while you leave them far behind, in your ridiculously fast EV. Luckily, Chevrolet[29] has recently introduced the Chevy Blazer EV PPV, touting it as its fastest police-package vehicle to date[30].

648 pound-feet Drivetrain
RWD and AWD Range
320 miles
0-60 mph
3.8 seconds Top Speed
130 mph (Specs sourced from Chevrolet) The Police-Pursuit Vehicle is based on the Chevy Blazer SS EV[31], which is the most potent variant of the entire line-up.
On top of making a perfect addition to GTA VI, the Blazer PPV was also built to be a perfect police vehicle in real life, and equipped with the following items:
- Larger cargo capacity
- Police-specific front-seats
- Driver spot lamp
- Standard rear camera mirror, to account for the prisoner partitions, cargo barriers, and vertical weapon mounts
- Standard wiring harness
8 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N
0-60 mph: 3.4 seconds
This one separates itself from the pack, by being a four-door SUV bred specially for the racetrack. You’ll notably be able to escape the VCPD in style, by drifting and swerving around the streets of Vice City, with enough room for two associates or more to help you handle your business. Coming straight out of Hyundai’s performance-sub brand, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N was modified to exceed its more civilian counterpart[32] in every way, and you should feel it in its peppy powertrain, be it in real life, or a device of your choosing.
Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Performance Specs

0-60 MPH
3.4 seconds Top Speed
162 mph (Specs sourced from Hyundai)
The IONIQ 5 N is notably filled with experience-enhancing tech[33], and we would like to test it for ourselves in Grand Theft Auto. For one, it roars like a proper race car, courtesy of the “N Active Sound+” technology. The latter channels the rage of a 2.0-liter engine, through a 10-speaker setup.
In addition, it handles well, and you’ll visit the repair shop after every mission. The IONIQ 5 N claims the biggest brakes ever offered by Hyundai,[34] and is endowed with the N Brake Regen system, which contributes 0.6 g of decelerative downforce.

This Russian-made Need for Speed Underground 2 Remastered trailer brings back fond memories.
9 Rimac Nevera
0-60 mph: 1.74 seconds
The Bugatti Chiron[36] (also known as the Truffade Nero in the game) was once the fastest car in GTA V. Thus, it would only make sense to have the current fastest-accelerating production car on the planet in GTA 6.
With a proven top speed of 258 mph, the Nevera is tailor-made for heists and chases, and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to buy it on LegendaryMotorSport.com once we finally get our copy! After all, the Croatian hypercar has done everything to deserve it. Earlier this year, the Nevera shattered a total of 23 records in a single day[37], one of which included a dazzling 0-60 mph time of 1.74 seconds.
Rimac Nevera Performance Specs

Quad-motor setup Horsepower
1,912 horses Torque
1,741 pound-feet Driveline AWD
0-60 MPH
1.74 seconds Top Speed
258 mph (Specs sourced from Rimac)
The quad-motor setup and 1,900+ horsepower also translated into an impressive performance at the Nurburgring, which saw the Nevera complete the 12.9-mile track in just 7 minutes and 5.298 seconds[38], effectively dethroning every other EV in the process.
10 Mercedes Vision One Eleven Concept
0-60 mph: TBA
If video games are meant to be an escape from reality, then the Mercedes Vision One Eleven is bound to be in the GTA 6. Although it wasn’t built to be driven and doesn’t have any specs revealed yet,[39] we couldn’t help but include it due to its unlimited cool factor. The Concept looks like what you’d get if someone had tasked Mercedes[40] with making a Batmobile.
The styling is extravagant in every way possible, with its gullwing doors, foggy windows, hunkered-down stance, and giant wheels. More impressively, this 2050-looking car runs on technology from the nineteenth century, which was resuscitated a little over ten years ago. The Vision One Eleven is powered by four axial-flux motors, courtesy of YASA[41], which touts them as being four times more powerful and 50 percent lighter than any other alternative on the market today.
Previously, the company had implemented the same setup on the fastest electric airplane, known as the Spirit Of Innovation.
Therefore, it’s only fair we get to test it for ourselves while going on heists around the mean streets of Vice City!
