3 children taken to the hospital after daycare bus rolls over in Michigan
KENT COUNTY, Mich. (WWMT) -- Three children were checked out at a hospital Wednesday after a private daycare bus in Michigan rolled over in a crash, police said. A BMW sedan ran the stop sign at the intersection of Pettis Avenue and 5 Mile Road in Grand Rapids, crashing into the side of the bus, according to the Kent County Sheriff's Office. Twelve children total were on board.
The three injured children were evaluated at the hospital with some bumps and bruises.
Seatbelts were a significant factor in their protection, the sheriff's office said.
