42-acre plot of countryside and a quarry up for sale on Peak District border
A large patch of countryside is up for sale on the edge of the Peak District[1]. Over 42 acres of land near Matlock has been listed on the market. With a price tag of GBP275,000, the site is accompanied by a seven-acre quarry and can be found south of Salters Lane, between Bonsall and Matlock.

The bulk of the 42 acres is made up of pasture land used by animals, as well as amenity land[3]. The former limestone and quartz quarry offers the opportunity for a range of alternative future uses, subject to necessary planning consents.
