A417 traffic: Crash outside pub near Cirencester causes delays

Emergency services were called to the two-car crash between The Crown pub and Ampney Mill Cottages at roughly 3pm on Wednesday, December 20. Police, fire and ambulance services were in attendance while the road was blocked in both directions. Significant delays were caused by this, and motorists were diverted via local villages.

The latest update from traffic monitoring service Inrix at 5.30pm suggests that the road is now clear and that the traffic delays have subsided.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured during the crash or if any arrests were made.
