Appeal following serious crash near Newtonhill, Aberdeenshire
Officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the A92 on Friday, 8 December, 2023. Around 10.40am officers were called to the A92 near Newtonhill, Aberdeenshire, following a report of a crash involving a black Mercedes Sprinter van and a male pedestrian. Emergency services attended and the 60-year-old pedestrian was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment where he remains in a serious condition.
The road reopened around 3.50pm.
Sergeant Sarah Ritchie said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would ask any members of the public who may have seen the collision or have dash cam footage to please get in touch.”
