Ashby-de-la-Zouch: Body of man reported missing found in hedge
Road closures are in place while offficers investigate Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a hedge. The man, named locally as Tommy Hunter, went missing on Sunday at about 02:00 GMT, after leaving a nightclub in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
Derbyshire Police said his body was found off Burton Road near the town just after 08:30 on Monday. A number of roads in the area remain closed as Leicestershire Police investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. Burton Road has been shut between the roundabout to the A511 and its junction with Rushey Close, Spring Avenue and Anwell Lane.
Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
