Audi A3 flees scene after Land Rover Defender in Nuneaton
An Audi A3 sped from the scene of an accident with a Land Rover Defender in Nuneaton[1]. Police were called to the collision at 6.30pm on Tuttle Hill last night (December 5). There were 999 calls to report a collision between a black Audi A3 and a black Land Rover Defender.
But when officers arrived, the Audi A3 had left the scene. It was last spotted heading towards Queen Elizabeth Road. Fortunately, the driver of the Land Rover Defender was unharmed following the collision.
But police are now keen to trace two suspects believed to be in the Audi A3. They have launched a witness appeal and asked anyone in the area at the time with any information to come forward. “The Audi was allegedly being driven by two young males and was damaged following the collision,” a Warwickshire[3] Police spokesman said. “If you saw anything, or have any dashcam or other footage that might help, get in contact with us citing incident 330 of 5 December.”
Information can be passed on by calling 101, reporting online[4] or by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers, which is anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
