Boxing Day robbery appeal as friends targeted by thugs in Ford Mondeo

Two young men were robbed[1] of their bag on Boxing Day after being stopped by a Ford Mondeo. The youngsters were targeted near to Jeffrey Close in Rugeley[2] at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 26. Staffordshire[3] Police said a black Ford Mondeo stopped near the men, before occupants of the vehicle got out and stole[4] a bag from one of them.

The force has appealed for CCTV footage and anyone with information to come forward. The force has asked anyone with information to contact the force, quoting log number 146. A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police[5] said: “We have received contact from a member of public stating that around 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 26, a black Ford Mondeo has stopped near two young males near to Jeffery Close in Rugeley and the occupants of the vehicle have stolen a bag from one of the males.
