Boy, 13, treated in hospital after attack by man in Gloucester
A teenage boy was left with concussion and bruising after being attacked in Gloucester. Now police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened in Gloucester[1] at 5.50pm on Thursday evening (December 14). Three teenage boys were walking through the multi-storey car park at Asda in Bruton Way.
A verbal altercation took place between two of the boys and an unknown man, before the man chased them both to Napier Street. Police[2] say he then punched one of the boys, before throwing both of the boys to the floor and demanding they hand over a mobile phone. It is believed that the man had parked a black Vauxhall Corsa with a red stripe in the car park and he returned to his vehicle with the phone following the assault.
One of the boys, aged 13, was later treated Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for concussion and bruising. Police say the attacker was white and of muscular build. He was aged between 30 and 40 and was dressed in a black shirt, shorts and trainers and was wearing a cap and glasses.
Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website, quoting incident 402 of December 14[5].
