Bridge between Huntingdon and Godmanchester closed to traffic following ‘recent road incident’
S Cambridgeshire bridge is closed following a ‘recent road incident’. The bridge is shut on The Avenue between Huntingdon and Godmanchester. Cambridgeshire[1] Police said the road was closed to traffic in both directions.
The closure is expected to remain in place ‘until further notice’. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “Please be advised that the bridge between Huntingdon[2] and Godmanchester (The Avenue) will be closed following on from a recent road incident. The bridge will be closed until further notice in both directions.”
Police first confirmed the closure at around 4pm on Thursday, December 7. We have no further information at this stage.
