Bridgwater over-60s nightclub lets ‘oldies let our hair down’

A nightclub event for over-60s is giving seniors a new lease of life in a Somerset town.

Age UK put the night on at Bridgwater’s Palace nightclub to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

Club participant 87-year-old Gilly said: “It’s so much fun!

“Us oldies can let our hair down without feeling embarrassed in front of loads of young people.”
