A bungalow in a trendy spot favoured by Liverpool stars has been branded a ‘glorified wendy house’ after it went on sale for GBP360,000.

The two-bed property is located in Crosby – a town popular with Liverpool football players old and new such as Jamie Carragher[2] and Steven Gerrard[3].

But despite its open plan kitchen and en-suite bedrooms, home hunters have been quick to brand the modern pad as ‘the worst property in the UK’.

The flat-roof home, which has already been reduced from GBP460,000, is located in the back garden of a three-storey house converted into flats.

But as well as a light-filled kitchen and living room, it also features two bedrooms and an en-suite with a bath.

The property also comes with a private patio, two car spaces and electric charging point.

But home hunters have been quick to poke fun at the tiny property – near where former Everton bosses Carlo Ancelotti and Frank Lampard resided during their time on Merseyside.

One house hunter said: ‘This might actually be the worst property in the UK. Can anyone find a worse, more overvalued piece of c*ap on the market?’

Another, named Mike, said: ‘Look what came back on the market.

‘Still overvalued by about GBP300,000.’

He added: ‘I think someone bought a flat pack shed from Ikea, plonked it in the middle of a shared garden and wanted half a million for it.’

A third joked: ‘What even is that? Looks like a glorified Wendy house.’
