Burglars smash their way into Nuneaton’s Starbucks
Burglars smashed their way into Nuneaton’s Starbucks drive-thru. Yesterday morning (December 10) the Bermuda Park branch was closed. One of the windows within the building was boarded up with wooden boarding.
This follows the break-in late on Saturday night. Warwickshire[1] Police confirmed to CoventryLive that they were made aware of the burglary at 1.30am yesterday morning (December 10).
Fortunately, no members of staff were at the branch at the time.
Now an investigation is underway to identify the thieves who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. “We were made aware of a burglary at a business premises at Bermuda Park on St David’s Way in Nuneaton[3] shortly before 1.30am on Sunday (10 December),” a Warwickshire Police[4] spokesperson said. “It is believed the premises was broken into around 11.35pm and a quantity of cash was removed.No-one was in the premises at the time, and no-one was injured.
“Enquiries are ongoing with anyone who was in the area at the time or who has information asked to contact us quoting incident 35 of 10 December.” Anyone with any information should contact police on 101.
