Gunville Road residents raise speed concerns
In recent months, locals have been taking to social media to raise concerns about the speed vehicles travel when passing the Taylor Road entrance towards Forest Road – a 30mph zone, increasing to 40mph past the residential area.
The speed of the vehicles can make it difficult for drivers to judge whether they can pass onto the opposite side of the road to navigate the pinch point.
Isle of Wight police have confirmed they are looking into this, along with another 40 potential locations across the Island.
