Celtic ‘make contact’ with Premier League side over striker transfer

Fabio Silva (Image: SNS Images) Celtic have reportedly "made contact" with Wolves about signing striker Fabio Silva. This according to Football Scotland[1] who claim that the "Hoops have been in touch with the Premier League side regarding the forward".

Silva joined the Molineux club in the summer of 2022 before embarking on loan spells at Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven.

He has played 10 times for Wolves so far this season, scoring once in the League Cup.

Brendan Rodgers is keen to add a striker to his squad with the Asian Cup on the horizon which could see Kyogo Furuhashi and Oh Hyeon-gyu called up for Japan and South Korea, respectively.
