Clelia Theodorou undergoes surgery three months after welcoming daughter Cielo with boyfriend Tommy Cole

TOWIE[2]‘s Clelia Theodorou[3] has revealed she is in a ‘lot of pain’ but is ‘on the road to recovery’ after undergoing surgery on Tuesday – following a horror car accident.
The reality star, 29, recently welcomed her first child Cielo Elizabeth, three months, with her boyfriend Tommy Cole.
The mother-of-one, whose mother was tragically killed in the terrifying accident[4], suffered broken legs and feet which left her hospitalised in May.
Providing a heartbreaking, but hopeful health update to her fans, Clelia shared she had her metal rods removed in her foot and leg, but will have to have further surgery to get her ‘walking again’.
Sharing a picture on Instagram in her hospital bed, she wrote: ‘Another surgery completed. Hopefully on the way to being able to walk properly soon.

‘I’m in a lot of pain but had to be done. I had some of my metal rods removed in my foot and leg.
Will have to have more removed as well but for now this should get me where I need to be for walking again.’
Clelia later shared another update at home sitting on her sofa, with bandages wrapped around her legs, to thank her fans for their kind messages.
She wrote: ‘Thank you for your kind messages. Suffering with the pain but on the road to recovery’.
Posting a picture of her gorgeous daughter Cielo shortly after, she wrote: ‘This little cheeky monkey helps so much’.
Clelia and Tommy announced they were expecting their first child together in March, as Clelia took to Instagram to share a sweet montage video with fans.
Clelia revealed she was dating Tommy in June 2021 when a fan quizzed her over the nature of their relationship.
Clelia revealed that her mother passed away in a horror car crash which took place at the end of May.
Taking to Instagram, the pregnant The Only Way Is Essex star revealed that she too had been involved in the crash, which left her in hospital with ‘terrible injuries’ for weeks.

She told followers that whilst she is ‘continuing to heal’, she admitted that her ‘beautiful’ mum ‘couldn’t heal’ from hers

Clelia wrote: ‘At the end of May myself and my Mum were unfortunately involved in an accident, we both suffered terrible injuries.
‘I am continuing to heal from mine after weeks in hospital but it’s with the biggest regret to say that my beautiful Mum couldn’t heal from hers.
‘The person I never, ever wanted to say goodbye to. Who loved me unconditionally, the pure definition of a mother’s love.’
Heartbroken Clelia described the pain as ‘paralysing’ and said that the loss was beyond words.
She added: ‘My heart will never heal from this, life will never ever be the same.
It just doesn’t feel real and it never will, I just want my mum back.’
