Crash in west Dorset village of Bowood on Christmas Eve

Emergency services were called to Bowood, between Bridport and Broadwindsor, on Christmas Eve. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle as passers-by came to their aid. They waited with them until emergency services arrived and paramedics were able to help.

According to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, the collision, which involved a single-vehicle just before noon, was passed on to Dorset Police.
