Police have been approached for comment.

Southwest of the above incident, Beck Street in Thurgarton is closed due to flooding.

The flooding on Beck Street has resulted in the road being closed both ways between Main Street and Priory Park. South of that location, Caythorpe Road, east of Lowdham has also been closed due to flooding both ways between Gunthorpe Road and Main Street. Nearby Station Road in Lowdham has been closed both ways between Southwell Road and Blenheim Avenue as it has become a victim of flooding.

Drivers are advised to avoid the above areas if possible.
