Cyclist injured in hit-and-run in city
A cyclist has suffered injuries in a hit-and-run collision in Plymouth.
The man, who is in his 50s, was riding a blue road bike on Outland Road towards Home Park when he was struck by a dark-coloured hatchback car.
The vehicle failed to stop after the crash at the junction with Weston Park Road and the cyclist sustained injuries to his leg, arm and face and his bike was seriously damaged.
Officers are investigating the incident, which happened between 07:40 and 07:55 GMT, and have urged anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them.
