Dangerous driver admits killing man, 52, in horror crash on major road

A man has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a 52-year-old man by dangerous driving in Chorlton[1]. Adeel Safdar, 34, appeared at Manchester Crown Court[2] today, December 6 where he entered a guilty plea to an offence of causing death by dangerous driving of Jonathan Langston. The incident happened on Wilbraham Road on March 17 this year.

At the time, police said the collision involved a car, a Volkswagen Golf, and a pedestrian. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Safdar, of Railway Road, Stretford[5], will be sentenced on January 17 next year.

He was granted bail until the next hearing.
