Dartmoor driver left with life-changing injuries after serious crash

A driver has been left with life-changing injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Dartmoor. Emergency services rushed to the incident on the B3212 between Princetown and Dousland shortly before midnight yesterday (December 4). Police say the driver of a blue VW Golf GTD was taken to Derriford Hospital with life-changing injuries.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch. In a full statement, a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police are currently investigating a serious collision which has left a man with life-changing injuries. "Emergency services were notified at approximately 11.45pm on Monday December 4 to reports of a collision on the B3212 between Princetown and Dousland, Dartmoor.

The incident involved one vehicle - a blue VW Golf GTD. "As a result of the collision, the driver suffered life changing injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital. "Local Officers and Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the scene.

Once a full investigation had been conducted the road was re-opened."
