David Moyes sends warning to Manchester United ahead of West Ham clash

David Moyes wants to see a repeat performance of last season's 1-0 win when they welcome Manchester United[1] to the London Stadium on Saturday. United[2] will look to build on a resolute performance during Sunday's 0-0 draw at Liverpool[3], with Erik ten Hag[4] keen to kickstart a stalling season. His side have already lost seven Premier League[5] games and away form continues to be an issue.

West Ham are starting to see improved performances at home, winning five of a six-game unbeaten run at the London Stadium. But the Hammers had midweek football to contend with and were thumped 5-1 by United's previous opponents, Liverpool, in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. "We're off the back of a really good [Premier League] win over Wolves, so our form has been pretty good and we want to keep that up against Manchester United. "I've always enjoyed playing against Manchester United.

It was incredibly difficult to win against Sir Alex teams. I want us to give them as good a game as we did against them at home last season. "We're fighting hard to stick around the position we're in, we want to get European football for a fourth straight season.

Our home form will be important to that and we want to get a result on Saturday." West Ham suffered no fresh injury issues during the defeat at Anfield but Moyes did play a near-full strength side. He was able to give the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Lucas Paqueta some minutes off the bench, however.

Striker Michael Antonio remains sidelined with a serious knee injury and Jarrod Bowen has been playing up front in recent weeks.

"Mick's [Antonio] improving," Moyes said of the Jamaican international. "He's on the grass.

He's doing some running, so he's improving."
