Delays after crash on A2 coastbound, near Darenth Interchange in Dartford, with congestion to Bexleyheath

Drivers are experiencing long delays this afternoon due to a crash. Two lanes of three were closed along the A2 coastbound, from A2018 Old Bexley Lane to M25 J2 Darenth Interchange in Dartford[1].

There are queues of up to three miles due to the accident, which was reported at around 12.57pm. Congestion is stretching to Bexleyheath[2] and traffic on the opposite side of the road is also slow as drivers slow down to look.

The road was blocked for a brief time, but traffic is now able to pass.
