Delays after multi-vehicle crash near Cirencester
According to National Highways, lane one is closed southbound between the A417 and B4696. A spokesperson said in a statement[1] earlier this morning: “Police are on scene and recovery is on route. “There are two miles of congestion on approach causing 40 minute delays above normal travel time.”
Update 9.50am – it is understood all lanes have now reopened but there are 50 minute delays.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police[2] said: “It was a three-vehicle collision which was reported to us shortly after 7.05am today.
“One driver had back pain but did not require hospital treatment and there were no other reported injuries.”
