Delays as major Dorset route blocked after crash

B354 blocked after crash (Image: Google Maps) A person has been injured in a crash that blocked a major route this morning. The A354 was blocked in both directions due to a single-vehicle crash on Thornicombe Hill near Blandford Forum.

The road has now been cleared, and traffic is reported to have returned to normal. Police and ambulance were in attendance. Police say that minor injuries have been reported.

Delays had been reported from the Charlton Marshall turn-off to the Bere Regis turn-off. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “At 7.01am we received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision on Thornicombe Hill on the A354 near Blandford Forum. “Officers and ambulance attended.

Minor injuries have been reported.”
