Driver rushed to hospital as car smashes into parked vehicle and flips onto roof in Armley crash

The driver of a car which flipped onto its roof[1] during a crash on Armley Ridge Road in Leeds has been taken to hospital. The car collided with a parked vehicle before flipping onto its roof in Armley at 11.39am this morning (December 20). The road is currently shut as police work at the scene.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police[2] told Leeds Live: “At 11.39am, police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Armley Ridge Road in Leeds, where a car had collided with a parked car. Emergency services attended and the driver was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries not believed to be life-threatening at this time. “Road closures are currently in place.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the collision.”
