Driver taken to hospital after crash near Inverkeithing
Emergency services raced to the B981 near Inverkeithing this morning after the two-vehicle collision.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving a car and a van on the B981 near Inverkeithing around 7.20am on Tuesday, 19 December. “Emergency services attended and one driver was taken to hospital.”
The collision resulted in delays around the area with East Scotland Stagecoach confirming their services were subject to diversions while emergency services were at the scene.
It stated on Twitter/X: “Due to an Incident on the B981 the service 89 will divert via Lapwing drive,Carnegie Avenue, A823m onto Inverkeithing both ways.”
