Emergency services called as car and motorbike crash on Preston Road

Police and ambulance services were called to Preston Road at around 3.43pm today (Wednesday, December 20), to reports of the two-vehicle crash. Emergency services remained at the scene until the road was later cleared at around 4.25pm. The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 3.43pm to a report of a collision involving a car and a motorbike in Preston Road in Weymouth. “The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and the driver of the car was not injured. The road was cleared at around 4.25pm.

“Officers were in attendance with the ambulance service.”
