Family of Littleport woman killed in A10 crash pay tribute to ‘beautiful, loyal and kind’ 68-year-old

The family of a woman killed in a crash on the A10 near Littleport have paid tribute to her. Susan Folkes, of Black Horse Drive, Littleport, was driving between the Mildenhall Road roundabout and Brandon Creek on Tuesday (November 28). Emergency services were called after the red Ford Focus she was driving in was involved in a crash with two tractors.

The 68-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and the tractor drivers were not injured. A 40-year-old man from the King’s Lynn area of Norfolk was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been released on bail.

In a statement, her family said: “Sue was a much-loved member of our family and her sudden and tragic passing has left us all shocked and heartbroken. Sue was a beautiful, loyal and kind person, who will be missed by everyone who knew her.” Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident is advised to report it through the force website using reference CC-28112023-0235.
