A week later it’s understood her body was discovered at her house in Aberdeen[2] by her distraught daughter. A pink and black scooter was left abandoned outside her front door as officers appealed for information.
A neighbour said: “I would see her whizzing about on that thing three or four times a day. “She was always out and about. So I did wonder if something was wrong when I didn’t see her.
“Then when I saw the ambulance and the police[3] it was obvious something really terrible had happened.”
Residents said Tracie was taken home by paramedics[4] after the smash on November 20. They said she had to be helped into her house. One said: “She didn’t look like she was in a good way.

“The paramedic parked the ambulance up then went in and I would say they were with Tracie for about an hour.” It’s thought Tracie’s daughter became concerned when she didn’t hear from her mum.
And it’s claimed she found her lying on the bedroom floor on November 27th. She ran to get a neighbour to help before they raised the alarm and called in the emergency services[5]. A local said: “It’s just horrendous.
No one has any idea what happened to her. “It’s not like she was sick or ill or anything like that. We just can’t get our heads around it.”
Cops[6] combed the house for evidence and were at the property[7] in Mastrick Close for about a week. Police Scotland[8] revealed that following a post-mortem Tracie’s death is being treated as “unexplained”. They’ve now issued an appeal asking for information about the e-scooter crash, that only involved her.
Sergeant Peter Henderson said: “While it is unclear at this stage whether the collision and any injuries the woman sustained contributed to her death, it is important that we establish the full circumstances of what happened.
“I am appealing for anyone who was in Whitemyres Avenue around 5.20pm on Monday, 20 November, and may have seen a woman riding a black e-scooter to please come forward.
“In particular I would urge any motorists with dash-cams who were on the road to check their footage in case they have captured anything which could be of significance to our enquiries.”
