Forensics remain on Lanarkshire street after man was pronounced dead

A Lanarkshire street[1] remains cordoned off by police[2] after a man was pronounced dead yesterday morning, December 2. Emergency[3] services rushed to Smyllum Road in Lanark after they received reports of an unconscious man at around 9.45am. Sadly, he died at the scene.

Residents are now being asked to sign in and out as forensics continue to sweep the area. Yesterday, police and ambulance crews were in the area. A helicopter was also spotted landing in a nearby field.

Today, men in white overalls have been spotted going in and out of a silver tent which was put up yesterday. The nature of the incident is still unknown.
