Four suspects remain in Northumbria Police crime crackdown

At the start of October, police made an appeal to the public for information, releasing the pictures of 15 suspects wanted in connection with offences across Northumbria. From those initial suspects, only four remain at large. Four suspects were detained within the first 72 hours, and of the four most recently arrested, all have been charged with offences such as theft from motor vehicle, robbery, criminal damage, and possession of an offensive weapon.

The remaining suspects are: Carl Beadle, 39 of South Shields, who is wanted in connection with a burglary, Wayne Layburn, 54 of North Shields, wanted in connection with a robbery, Kimberley Quinn, 38 of Sunderland, wanted in connection with a burglary, and Lisa Thompson, 46 of North Shields, wanted in connection with a robbery. The police have urged these individuals to surrender at the earliest opportunity at the nearest police station. Officers have also warned that harbouring wanted suspects is a criminal offence with potential custodial repercussions.

Anyone with information about any of the suspects pictured is asked to contact police immediately via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of the Northumbria Police website, quoting ‘wanted campaign’.
