‘Hit and run’ driver escapes towards Swindon after teen injured
The driver of a grey car was involved in the crash with the boy, in his late teens, and made of towards Swindon[1] after the collision at around 6.45pm on Saturday, December 16, Gloucestershire Police said. It took place at the Tesco roundabout in Cirencester. The force said the car did not stop at the scene.
Meanwhile, the teenager was taken to Cirencester Hospital where he was treated for a fractured elbow. The force has now launched a public appeal for information. A police spokesperson said: “Officers are now asking the driver to make contact with police and give an account of what happened.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage is also being urged to get in touch.”
