Hit-and-run driver sought after teen injured in Cirencester crash
The teenager, aged in his late teens, was injured in the collision with a grey car at the Tesco roundabout at around 6.45pm on Saturday, December 16. Gloucestershire Police[1] say the driver of the car did not stop at the scene and continued driving in the direction of Swindon. Meanwhile, the teenager was taken to Cirencester Hospital where he was treated for a fractured elbow.
The force have now launched a public appeal for information. A police spokesperson said: “Officers are now asking the driver to make contact with police and give an account of what happened. “Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage is also being urged to get in touch.”
