Hit-skip suspect turns herself into police the following day: Chagrin Falls police blotter
CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio
Hit-skip crash: North Franklin Street
A Richmond Heights woman, 54, faces several charges following a 10:55 p.m. Dec.
5 crash at the West Washington Street intersection.
She is accused of failing to stop at a red light and striking the side rear of another vehicle. The woman stopped briefly before leaving the scene.
She turned herself in the following day and was cited for driving without a valid license, failing to stop after a crash and failing to stop for a traffic signal.
She will appear in Bedford Municipal Court.
Crash: Cleveland Street
While driving east at 7:05 a.m. Dec.
6, a vehicle driven by a Shaker Heights man, 35, encountered ice on the road, causing it to slide across the center line.
His vehicle was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by a Chagrin Falls man, 37. The crash caused both to spin out of control.

After a girl threatened to harm people with a knife at 4:20 p.m.
Dec.
4, police responded to the home. She was unarmed when they arrived. She was transported to a hospital for evaluation.
Property damage: West Orange Street
Shortly before 1 p.m.
Dec.
7, a woman from Rome, Ohio, 58, contacted police to document damage to her vehicle.
She had not noticed it before visiting M Italian restaurant and suspects that it was done by a valet working there.
Found property: Bell Street
Finding a cell phone on her front step, a resident turned it in to police at 2:15 a.m. Dec.
8. It was placed into evidence for safekeeping.
The owner, a woman, 43, was identified and the phone was returned.
