Hove: Sussex Police investigating Portland Road vehicle collision
The vehicle, which drove away from the scene, is believed to have hit the woman between the evening of Saturday, December 2 and the early hours of the morning of December 3. A 32-year-old woman required surgery after the incident in Portland Road, Hove and remains in hospital. Sussex Police are investigating the incident.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in Hove. “The 32-year-old victim was walking along Portland Road when it’s believed she was hit by an unknown vehicle that failed to stop at the scene. MOST READ:

“Investigating officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened, or who may have captured any relevant dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage from the area at that time.
