Kody Bell: Parents and widow of Baldivis crash victim embroiled in bitter legal battle over ashes

The parents of a man killed in an horrific car accident in Perth’s south earlier this year have been prohibited from scattering their late son’s ashes after a court ruled in favour of his widow.

Kody Bell, a 24-year-old married father of two, and his younger brother William, 21, were backseat passengers in an Audi A3 driven by their friend, Jaziah Thomas, 24, when it ploughed into a Kia Stinger along Sixty Eight Road in Baldivis on September 27.
