Live A141 traffic updates today as ‘serious’ crash leaves road closed near Huntingdon

Part of the A141 is closed following a crash today (Friday, December 1). Both carriageways are closed between the A1 at Brampton Hut and the A1307 at Huntingdon. Traffic data company Inrix reported the closure at 9.20am.

It said: “A141 in both directions closed, heavy traffic due to accident, one car involved between A1 (Brampton Hut, Brampton) and the A1307 (Huntingdon). Westbound is closed to allow for the air ambulance to land. Traffic can still join Westbound at Huntingdon Racecourse (J22).”

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.46am today (1 December) with reports of a collision between two vehicles on the A141 Eastbound near Brampton Hut. Emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently closed. Details of injuries are unclear at this stage.”

A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesperson said: “Closed A141 eastbound between the A1 and the junction with the A1307 due to a road traffic collision. Please allow extra time for your journey.” CambridgeshireLive has contacted the air ambulance and East of England Ambulance Service for more information.
