Live: A386 crash near Plymouth as driver sent to hospital

A driver has been taken to hospital this morning after being injured in a crash. The A386 between Tavistock and Yelverton is currently blocked both ways due to the collision. Police have confirmed it happened at 5:40am.

Two vehicles were involved. There are reports of oil on the road. The incident happened shortly after 6am on Saturday.

The traffic site Inrix has provided some details.

It says: “Slow traffic due to accident from Drake’s Cafe (Grenofen) to Graybridge Road (Horrabridge).”
