LIVE Boxing Day traffic and travel in Greater Manchester with lane closed on M60 after crash
It’s Boxing Day which means it might be busy on the roads – and we will be keeping an eye on the latest traffic updates across Greater Manchester. There is currently one lane shut on the M60 after a crash. The lane is closed on the anticlockwise carriageway between junction 24 for Denton and junction 23 for Ashton-under-Lyne, according to traffic alert service Inrix.
It involved two cars. Emergency crews are on the scene.
North West Motorway Police said in a tweet: “We have a report of an RTC on M60 between j24 and j23, currently lane 1 is blocked by emergency vehicles.”
So far, this is the only problem on our motorways but we will be monitoring the traffic situation throughout the day.
