Live M3 updates as crash causes delays near Camberley

Traffic was temporarily held on the M3 west-bound near Camberley due to a crash on Sunday afternoon (December 17). The incident happened between Junction 3 and Junction 4. Emergency services including Surrey Police, and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene to deal with the crash.

Drivers were warned by National Highways to expect delays of 45 minutes on the approach, with three miles of congestion back just past J3 (Lightwayer). SurreyLive has approached emergency services for further information. A National Highways spokesperson said on Twitter in an initial update: “Three lanes are now open on the M3 westbound, near Camberley, between J3 and J4 The inside lane remains closed due to a collision”
