Live: M5 traffic stopped in Somerset after multi-vehicle crash
A crash involving four vehicles has led to all traffic being held on the M5 in Somerset. Traffic is queuing following a crash on the southbound stretch of the motorway between J24 for Bridgwater South and J25 for Taunton this evening (December 5). According to traffic monitoring service Inrix, motorists are being held temporarily.
Inrix says: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to multi-vehicle accident on M5 southbound from J24 A38 Taunton Road (Bridgwater South) to J25 A358 (Taunton). “Traffic now held around 5.40pm, looks like possibly three vehicles in lane one and one car against the central reservation.” This is a live blog.
