Live M5 updates as crash causes tailbacks in Gloucestershire
There are tailbacks forming on the M5 motorway in South Gloucestershire[1] this morning, Thursday, December 14, following a crash. Traffic cameras show that queues are growing on the northbound carriageway.. According to traffic monitoring[2] site Inrix, the crash took place between junction 15 for the Almondsbury Interchange and junction 14 for Thornbury.
It was first reported at 11.22am and there is now a growing queue of drivers. Inrix says: “Traffic building up due to accident on M5 northbound from J15 M4 J20 (Almondsbury Interchange) to J14 B4509 (Thornbury and Falfield).” This is a live blog.
