Live Storm Gerritt updates as trains cancelled and flood alerts issued

Train services cancelled

National Rail says the following Transport for Wales routes are affected:

1. Carmarthen / Swansea – Llandovery There is a later than usual start up planned for the Heart of Wales line.

The 04:47 Carmarthen – Llandovery service will not run. The 06:26 Llandovery – Swansea service will not run. There will be no replacement road transport sourced to cover these journeys.

2. Llandudno / Llandudno Junction – Blaenau Ffestiniog Services between Llandudno / Llandudno Junction – Blaenau Ffestiniog will be cancelled.

Replacement road transport has been requested to run in place of these cancelled services. Please be aware that journey times will be extended when using rail replacement transport.

3. Swansea – Shrewsbury

There is a later than usual start up planned for the Heart of Wales line. The 05:22 Shrewsbury – Swansea service will not run. The 05:47 Swansea – Shrewsbury service will not run.

The 08:57 Shrewsbury – Swansea service will start from Llanwrtyd. The 09:09 Swansea – Shrewsbury will start from Llanwrtyd. There will be no replacement road transport sourced to cover these journeys.

4. Llandrindod – Shrewsbury There is a later than usual start up planned for the Heart of Wales line.

The 04:20 Shrewsbury – Llandrindod service will not run.

The 05:50 Llandrindod – Shrewsbury services will not run.

There will be no replacement road transport sourced to cover these journeys.
