Staffordshire Police say they are dealing with 'a man refusing to leave an address'. Officers were first called to the scene at 8.25am after court enforcement officers had attempted to evict a man. A spokesman for the force said: "We are currently dealing with an incident in Burton-on-Trent involving a man refusing to leave an address.

"Officers were first called to a property near Dallow Street at 8.25am this morning (5 December) after court enforcement officers attempted to evict a man from the premises. "He refused to leave the property and a number of threats were made. A temporary cordon has been set up whilst officers work to bring the incident to a safe conclusion.

"We would like to thank those in the area for their patience following a period of disruption.
